Lisa said this can go into the urbans series – not a problem – I like it but its companion WILL NOT BE ISSUED AN URBANS NUMBER – I will however put it in Abstracted – it needs more work anyway —- I love my wife Lisa.

Lisa my wife said – I WILL NOT issue an Urbans number for it – Abstracted needs work…. However, am starting to like this subset of abstracted —- skyscrapers indeed! – I love my wife

Well my birthday is in a few days. Last night Lisa and I celebrated with some friends. Lisa went overboard and gave me A FEW NOTES SELECTED FROM LESSON A OF WILSON’S PHOTOGRAPHICS PUB 1881 AS THE EXCUSE FOR TODD WALKER TO PRINT A FEW OF HIS OWN PHOTOGRAPHS. — Phew a mouthful but a neat book of 1976 sponsored by Florida and NEA
It is a beautiful little book – 10 photos (solarized nudes) with various excerpts on the opposing page.
The excerpts are – well special – here is one:
“When an artist is interested in his work, and believes in his art, it becomes wonderfully plastic, and the materials wonderfully tractable in his hands” – adam solomon
